PENN SLAMMER LIVELINER Saltwater Spinning Reel Series The Penn Slammer reels are very tough, full metal body spinning reels that can outfight the meanest fish. Since their introduction the Penn Slammer serie s has become the spinning reel of choice for saltwater fishing’s most critical anglers. Thanks to the triple supported system in spool alignment these reels can cope with the immense pressures exerted on the shaft and drag systems. A single, large HT100™ drag washer has also been located under the spool to provide the ultimate in fixed spool stopping power. Penn Slammer reels are a great choice for s altwater resist ant spinning. The Live Liner drag was built for fishing live bait. Simply pull the switch back and the front drag disengages and runs off the Live Liner drag , which is a much lighter drag that lets your live bait swim free. When you get bite, simply start cranking the handle and the Live Liner drag disengages, the front drag engages, and you're tight on your fish.
