The rod is built on PENN’s SLS3 blank construction, which creates a very thin diameter blank while maintaining a lightweight feel and exceptional durability. This design reduces fatigue during repeated jigging motions while delivering the backbone needed for lifting power and control. The Moderate Fast action allows anglers to work jigs efficiently while maintaining steady pressure during the fight.
Rated Medium Heavy with a 50–130 pound line rating, this rod is well suited for demanding saltwater environments, including boat, nearshore, and offshore jigging applications. Premium components enhance reliability and performance, including Fuji K-Series tangle-free guides with SiC inserts that reduce friction and support braided line, and a Fuji palm-style reel seat that provides a secure, ergonomic connection.
